Grant and Gutsell have many years of experience in dealing with some of the major drivers of such crimes. By targetting these drivers and introducing controls such as those to prevent money laundering and restricting the money flows thus making the crimes less profitable, we can make a real difference to the overall enforcement effort. We have also advised on the introduction of effective disruption strategies. According to Interpol, wildlife crime is currently estimated at $20billion annually and is a major threat to both the diversity of the natural environment but also to the economy of countries relying on eco tourism
